Right now I am working on my college essays while in Starbucks and bumming off the free wifi. I feel like such a college student. The main thing is that now I feel like a blogger with my caramel macciato (oh so delicious) and the mac that my mom lent me in a starbucks blogging wearing skinny jeans and a rent tshirt and converse. wow. That's so hipster. We did RENT at my school and everyone dressed like a hipster. Not to make fun of Hipsters or anything, it just worked out that way. It was an awesome show...
Enough about RENT and how awesome it is, I wanted to say how obnoxious my drink order felt as I said it to the barista. I pushed up my ray bans (a birthday present we got 50% off because a family friend works for sunglass hut) and asked for a "Grande non-fat iced caramel macciato." Seriously??? I like it but does it have to sound so pretentious? I feel like I should get it and go back to my red convertable ferrari and share it with a teacup poodle after dumping it because of my figure. I actually said sorry after I gave the order.
I always made fun of those people that had the half-caf-mocha-two-pumps-of-vanilla-grande-in-a-venti-cup-iced-macciato. I feel like its ridiculous and pointless. It gets rid of the point of going out for coffe. You try what they give you, its their creation and their specialty... not yours. So it seems odd that people think that "oh I know best... do this NOT that beause that is wrong."
Although I really cant say anything, I am miss "grande-non-fat-iced-caramel-macciato"
